Particleboard is one of the most important and common types of artificial boards and is currently an important material for manufacturing furniture and other wood products. It is a type of board made by pressing wood or non-wood plant shavings (such as wood shavings, flax shavings, sugarcane bagasse, etc.) from wood or non-wood plants with or without the application of glue and auxiliary materials. Producing 1 cubic meter of particleboard requires 1.3 to 1.8 cubic meters of wood waste, while 1 cubic meter of particleboard can replace 3 cubic meters of logs.
