Continuous flat pressing system with steel belt is one high efficiency equipment for making OSB (Oriented strand board), MDF (Medium density fiberboard), and Particle board with Big production capacity, After the board slab enters the hot press, under high temperature (180~240℃) and high pressure (2~5MPa), the adhesive (usually urea-formaldehyde resin or phenolic resin) cures rapidly, and the wood shavings are closely combined. Segmented control: The hot pressing process is divided into heating, holding and cooling sections. Through continuous pressure application by multiple pressure rollers or steel belts, uniform density of the sheet is ensured. Due to its working way is -continuous and interruptted, therefore its production capacity can be very big such as 100,000m3~600,000m3/yearly

√ Main structural components
- Steel belt system: Two ring-shaped heat-resistant steel belts (with a thickness of approximately 1.5 to 3mm) drive the slab to move continuously, and the surface is chrome-plated or sprayed with a wear-resistant layer.
- Heating system: Heat transfer oil heating or electric heating, heat is transferred to the slab through the hot press plate.
- Hydraulic system: It provides pressure and adopts multi-cylinder synchronous technology to ensure uniform pressure distribution.
- Frame and roller group: High-strength frame support, and the arrangement of pressure rollers controls the thickness of the sheet (the adjustable range is usually 2 to 40mm).
Control system: PLC or DCS automated control, with real-time regulation of temperature, pressure and speed (the production line speed can reach 1.5 to 3m/min)

- High-efficiency continuous production: Compared with single-layer/multi-layer periodic presses, it can operate continuously for 24 hours and has a high production capacity (annual output of 100,000 to 600,000 cubic meters).
- Energy conservation and environmental protection: Heat energy recovery and utilization (such as waste heat from exhaust gas heating heat transfer oil), optimization of adhesive usage to reduce formaldehyde release.
- Board quality is stable: the density deviation is ≤±3%, the surface flatness is high, and it can be directly used for veneer processing.
- Flexibility: By adjusting parameters, particleboards of different thicknesses (commonly 8 to 40mm) and densities (550 to 750kg/m³) can be produced, and even special boards such as moisture-proof boards and flame-retardant boards can be manufactured.
