On the first day of the Shanghai International Woodworking Exhibition, Guararapes from Brazil visited our booth
On the opening day of the Shanghai International Woodworking Machinery Fair, we welcomed a distinguished long-time partner – a delegation from Guararapes, Brazil. As one of our key collaborators in the South American market, Guararapes has enjoyed many years of cooperation with us. On the morning of the first exhibition day, they came directly to our booth right after the fair opened, bringing a warm and cordial atmosphere to our team.
At the booth, our company’s executive team personally received the Guararapes delegation and accompanied them on an in-depth tour of the latest technological advancements in wood-based panel machinery showcased at this exhibition. From the new-generation continuous flat-press hot-pressing system, to the intelligent energy consumption management platform, and the high-precision sanding and sizing synchronized control solutions – we presented video demonstrations and technical explanations for each. The two sides engaged in practical and thorough discussions on equipment upgrades, flexible line retrofitting, and maintenance.
It is worth noting that this was not our first meeting this year. Earlier in July, our team traveled to Brazil to participate in the “Brazilian International Furniture Components and Woodworking Machinery Fair (FIMMA)” and, after the fair, made a special trip to Guararapes’ factory in Brazil for a systematic after-sales visit. At that time, we had detailed communications with their production supervisors and maintenance teams regarding the actual operating conditions of their three production lines. Key topics included the stability of the press hydraulic system, the maintenance cycle of the thermal oil heater, replacement criteria for wear parts such as steel belts, caul plates, and chains, as well as how to reduce unplanned downtime through preventive maintenance. That visit not only deepened our understanding of their on-site operating environment but also laid a solid technical foundation for the in-depth discussions held at this Shanghai exhibition.
About Guararapes: Founded in 1984, the company has over 40 years of experience in wood-based panel manufacturing, specializing in Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) and plywood. They currently operate three main production lines – two MDF lines and one plywood line. Their products primarily supply the domestic furniture manufacturing and architectural decoration markets in Brazil, enjoying a strong reputation across South America.
This reunion at the Shanghai fair served as both a continuation of our July visit to Brazil and a significant milestone in deepening our partnership. We not only showcased our latest technological solutions but also, through face-to-face communication, further confirmed our shared intentions regarding intelligent equipment upgrades, localized spare parts supply, and remote operation and maintenance services. Guararapes clearly expressed their desire to leverage our advanced equipment and process expertise to further improve their production line efficiency and product quality, in order to meet growing market demand.
The exchange on the first day lasted nearly two hours, with both sides still eager to continue the conversation. We agreed to initiate the next round of detailed technical discussions promptly after the fair concludes. This reunion was not only a reaffirmation of our past collaborative achievements but also a new starting point for future win-win development.
