The Particleboard Intelligent Temperature-Controlled Continuous Flat-Press Hot Pressing Line is a core equipment in modern engineered wood panel production. It combines a 16-zone independent temperature control system with PID intelligent algorithms to achieve millimeter-level precision in regulating the temperature during the hot-pressing process.

Core Objective: Addresses pain points of traditional hot presses, such as uneven temperature distribution, insufficient core layer curing, and high energy consumption.

I. Particleboard  

1.Definition: An engineered wood panel manufactured by compressing wood particles or non-wood plant fibers (e.g., branches, sawdust, recycled wood) with synthetic resin adhesives (typically urea-formaldehyde UF or melamine-modified UF resin) under high temperature and pressure.  

2.Key Characteristics:

Low cost, raw material utilization >90%  

Uniform density (typically 550-750 kg/m³)  

Smooth surface suitable for veneering/painting  

High transverse bending strength but weak water resistance (improved with additives)

Ⅲ. PID Regulation: Principles and Implementation  


1. Physical Zone Design

The press is divided along its length into 16 independent temperature control zones (typically 1-3 meters per zone), each equipped with:

Independent heating unit (thermal oil/steam circulation pipelines).

High-sensitivity temperature sensors (real-time monitoring of surface/core layer temperature).

Dynamic pressure compensation device (ensures synergy between pressure and temperature in each zone).

Zoning Logic:

Inlet Zone (Zones 1-4): High temperature (200-230°C) for rapid heating to activate resin flow.

Middle Zone (Zones 5-12): Constant temperature (180-200°C) for thorough core-layer cross-linking.

Outlet Zone (Zones 13-16): Gradient cooling (160-180°C) to reduce warping caused by internal stress.
