Product Introduction
The automatic continuous flat press is specially designed for medium and high density fiberboard (MDF/HDF) production line. Meaning of "continuous": Unlike traditional multi-layer hot presses (which can only press one or several sheets at a time and need to be opened and closed repeatedly), the pressing plate of the continuous flat hot press is always in a closed state. The laid fiber sheet (usually a loose, continuous sheet strip) is continuously fed into the press entrance.
Meaning of "flat pressing"
The sheet is subjected to pressure and heat from two huge, parallel hot pressing plates (or steel strips) on the upper and lower sides of the press. The pressure is perpendicular to the sheet surface, ensuring uniform sheet thickness and smooth surface (different from continuous roller pressing).
