The “Mid-Autumn Sprint” Behind 25 Containers

The Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, the moonlight is growing brighter, and families everywhere are looking forward to reunion. However, for our company, the eve of this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival was a “sprint” against time and against difficulties.

Just as the boss and the company’s core team were away in Brazil attending an international exhibition and visiting important customers, the factory received a large batch of container-loading tasks. The company was already short-staffed, and with the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day approaching, coupled with multiple pressures such as fluctuations in the international situation, tight shipping schedules, difficulty in securing space, and a surge in freight bookings, challenges came one after another. Faced with the heavy task of loading 25 containers, the remaining staff did not retreat. Instead, they went all out and cooperated closely, ultimately delivering all equipment to the designated port before the cut-off for documentation and port entry, successfully completing this shipment.

 A Complete Production Line, A Transoceanic Delivery

What was shipped this time is a complete plywood production line, covering the full process from log processing to finished board processing. Each machine is the crystallization of the company’s technical strength and manufacturing experience.

Log Debarking Machine: As the starting point of the production line, it removes the bark from logs to provide clean, regular wood raw materials for the subsequent rotary peeling process. Efficient debarking not only improves yield but also lays the foundation for subsequent processing.

Rotary Peeling Machine: It peels the debarked logs into continuous, uniform veneers. The precision of rotary peeling directly affects veneer thickness consistency and surface quality, making it a key step in plywood production.

Veneer Dryer: After rotary peeling, the veneers have a relatively high moisture content and need to be dried to meet process requirements. Uniform drying and stable temperature control are important guarantees for preventing veneers from cracking or deforming.

Glue Spreader: It evenly applies glue to the veneer surface, providing the bonding foundation for subsequent lay-up and pressing. The uniformity of glue application directly affects the strength and environmental performance of plywood.

Cold Press: Through cold pre-pressing, the glued veneers are initially shaped, part of the air is expelled, and the density of the mat is improved, preparing it for the hot-pressing process.

Hot Press: A key piece of equipment for plywood forming. Under high temperature and high pressure, the glue cures and the veneers bond tightly, forming finished plywood with high strength and good stability.

Sanding Machine: It performs surface sanding on the hot-pressed boards, making the surface flat and smooth and the thickness uniform, meeting the requirements for subsequent processing and end use.

Edge Sawing Machine: It precisely trims the boards so that the finished dimensions are regular and the edges are straight, improving product appearance quality and qualification rate.

From log debarking, rotary peeling, veneer drying, glue spreading, cold pressing, and hot pressing to sanding and edge sawing, these machines are closely linked and form a complete, efficient plywood production line. They will be shipped overseas to serve local customers and help them increase capacity and improve product quality.

 In the Face of Difficulties, Responsibility Shines Even More

Twenty-five containers are not just a number; they carry responsibility and trust. With tight shipping schedules, difficulty in securing space, and a surge in freight bookings, any delay in any link could affect customer delivery dates. Other personnel in the company actively filled in, collaborated fully, and coordinated everything from vehicle arrangement and container loading to contacting freight forwarders and tracking port entry. Every step was raced against the clock and carried out in an orderly manner.

When the last container successfully entered the port, and when the cut-off time for documentation and port entry was successfully met. This Mid-Autumn Festival, although some were far away in Brazil, some stayed at the factory, and some rushed along the port front line, everyone’s hearts were always closely connected.

When the moon is full but the team is apart, the mission must still be delivered. The smooth shipment of these 25 containers not only demonstrates the company team’s execution ability and cohesion, but also once again proves the company’s professional strength and delivery capability in the field of plywood production line equipment.
