Ⅱ. Detailed Production Process
1. Raw Material Pretreatment
Wood Chipping: Drum chipper (Model BX218) processes pine/poplar into 20-50mm flakes
Screening: Triple-deck vibratory screen (8mm/5mm/3mm mesh) with magnetic separator
Fiber Preparation: Steam preheating (165℃, 0.8MPa) followed by defibration in twin-disc refiner
2. Resin Application & Drying
Adhesive Formulation: UF resin (53% solids) + 1.2% wax emulsion
Blending: Centrifugal atomizing nozzle applies 8-10% resin (based on dry fiber weight)
Pneumatic Drying: Three-pass pipe dryer (inlet 180℃, outlet 70℃), moisture reduced to 1.5%
3. Mat Formation
Graded Layering: Mechanical star-type former creates 3-layer structure (40% fine surface / 60% coarse core)
Pre-pressing: Continuous belt pre-compactor (line pressure 1200N/mm) to 130% target thickness
4. Hot Pressing
High-pressure Curing: 8-opening press (3000-ton force, 205℃ platen) with 3-stage control:
Stage 1: 2.8MPa × 90 sec
Stage 2: 1.5MPa × 60 sec
Stage 3: 0.8MPa pressure release × 30 sec
Cycle Time: 3 min per 18mm panel
5. Finishing
Conditioning: Forced-air cooling to 45℃ + 48h stacking equilibration
Calibrating Sanding: 4-head sander (60/100/150/240 grit) removes 0.3-0.5mm/side
Trimming: CNC cross-cut saw (±0.5mm accuracy) to 1220×2440mm

Conditioning: Forced-air cooling to 45℃ + 48h stacking equilibration
Calibrating Sanding: 4-head sander (60/100/150/240 grit) removes 0.3-0.5mm/side
Trimming: CNC cross-cut saw (±0.5mm accuracy) to 1220×2440mm
