I. Production Process
1. Raw Material Processing
Fir logs are debarked and chipped into 30-50mm flakes, with moisture content reduced below 15%.
Flakes are screened and washed to remove impurities.
2. Particle Preparation
Flakes are processed into particles (20-40mm long, 0.2-0.5mm thick) via ring flakers.
Rotary dryers reduce moisture to 3%-5%.
3. Blending & Gluing
E1/E0 urea-formaldehyde resin (8%-12% dosage) is uniformly coated on particles using high-speed blenders (800-1200 rpm).
Waterproofing agent (1%-1.5% wax emulsion) and catalyst (0.5%-1% ammonium chloride) are added.
4. Forming & Pre-pressing
Mechanical formers create a graduated structure (fine surface/coarse core particles).
Continuous pre-presses apply 1.5-2.5 MPa for initial shaping.
5. Hot Pressing
Multi-opening presses (8-12 layers) cure the board at 180-210℃ and 25-30 MPa for 4-6 minutes.
Thickness is precisely controlled at 18±0.2mm.
6. Finishing
Trimming to standard sizes (e.g., 1220×2440mm).
Stack cooling for 24 hours to equilibrate moisture (6%-8%).
Double-side sanding (0.2-0.3mm removal) ensures surface flatness (≤0.1mm).
