1. Product: 3mm ultra-thin fire-rated HDF/MDF (density≥880kg/m³), certified ASTM E84 Class A (Flame Spread Index≤25), lightweight (6.5kg/m²) yet high-strength (MOR≥45MPa).
2. Capacity: 150m³/day output (≈16,800 sheets), powered by 38m continuous press (152m/min) & automated sanding line (reject rate<0.8%).
3. Technology: Phosphorus-nitrogen retardant dry-blending (12-15%) + melamine resin (9-11%), forming intumescent char barrier (30min@800℃ fire integrity).
4. Applications: Marine bulkheads (IMO certified), data center cabinet linings, HST partitions — cuts shipping costs by 40%.

.Fire-Rated Fiberboard  

1. Core Definition  

Fire-Rated Fiberboard is an engineered wood product treated with flame retardants or fire-resistant resin systems to meet national/international fire standards. Its essential function is to suppress flame spread, reduce heat release, and minimize toxic smoke during fire exposure, providing critical time for evacuation and firefighting.

3. Fire Retardancy Mechanisms  

Gas Phase Action: Retardants release inert gases (N₂, CO₂) to dilute oxygen

Ⅱ. Production Process 


1. Raw Material Processing  

Wood Chipping: Debarked logs (pine/eucalyptus) cut into 20-30mm chips, with metal detectors removing impurities  

Steam Treatment: Chips cooked in saturated steam at 170℃ for 3-5 minutes to soften lignin  

2. Fiber Preparation  

Defibration: Softened chips fed into twin-disc refiner under 1.2MPa pressure to separate fibers (length 0.8-1.2mm)  

Fiber Drying: Wet fibers dried in triple-pass rotary dryer (inlet 280℃/outlet 75℃), moisture content reduced to 8-10%  

3. Flame Retardancy Treatment (Core Step)  

Retardant Blending: Dry fibers mixed with phosphorus-nitrogen compound retardant (e.g. APP) in high-speed blender 

  Dosage: 12-15% of oven-dry fiber weight  

  Mixing temp: 45-50℃ (prevent resin pre-curing)  

Resin Application:

  Resin type: Modified melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF)  

  Application rate: 9-11% (includes 1.5% NH₄Cl hardener)  

  Method: Atomized spraying, fiber surface coverage ≥95%  

4. Mat Forming & Pre-pressing  

Forming: Air-felt forming machine creates layered mat with density deviation ≤±1.5%  

Pre-pressing: Continuous belt pre-press compacts mat to 120% target thickness at 0.8-1.2MPa  

5. Hot Pressing  

Temperature: 195-205℃ (heated by thermal oil circulation)

6. Post-Processing  

Cooling: Roller cooler reduces temperature below 40℃ (prevent warping)  

Cutting: High-speed crosscut/trim saw cuts to 1220x2440mm (diagonal error ≤2mm)  

Sanding: 6-head sander calibrates both sides (P80→P180 grit), thickness tolerance ±0.15mm
