1. Raw material preparation: Log debarking and cutting to generate uniform long strands.
2. Drying & screening: Strands are dried to optimal moisture content, and fines are removed by screening.
3. Blending: Strands are uniformly mixed with fast-curing adhesive in a high-speed blender.
4. Oriented forming: Strands are aligned by orientation devices into a three‑layer or multi‑layer structure (fine surface, coarse core) to form a mat.
5. Continuous hot pressing & curing: The mat enters the continuous hot press and is rapidly cured into a panel under high temperature and pressure.
6. Cooling & cutting: After cooling, panels are trimmed to size and sanded to thickness.
7. Inspection & packaging: Quality check, stacking, and packaging for storage or shipment.

OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is an engineered wood panel made from small-diameter logs or fast-growing plantation wood through flaking, oriented forming, and hot pressing. Its key feature is that strands are arranged in specific directions in the surface and core layers, offering high strength, excellent dimensional stability, strong screw-holding capacity, and good workability. OSB panels can be manufactured with no or low formaldehyde addition (using MDI or phenolic resins), providing superior environmental performance. They are widely used in timber-framed buildings, roof/wall sheathing, subflooring, packaging boxes, shelving, and furniture manufacturing.
