The High-Efficiency Hot Air Circulation Density Board Drying System is specifically designed for the engineered wood industry, achieving efficient and energy-saving drying of wet fibers through closed-loop hot air circulation technology. The system recovers and reuses most of the hot air, significantly reducing heat loss while maintaining stable drying temperatures. With a compact structure and high thermal efficiency, this equipment is suitable for continuous batch production of medium and high density fiberboard (MDF/HDF), particularly for companies with strict requirements on operating costs and environmental protection.

Working Principle  


During system operation, high-temperature hot air generated by the hot air furnace is driven by the main circulating fan into the drying drum. Wet fibers are continuously lifted by lifting plates inside the drum, where they fully contact with the hot air and moisture evaporates. The hot air containing water vapor passes through a cyclone dust collector to remove dust, after which most (approximately 80%-90%) is directly returned to the hot air furnace via the return air duct for reheating, forming a closed-loop circulation. A small portion of the exhaust air is deeply purified by a bag filter before discharge. A fresh air inlet automatically supplements outside air to balance system pressure and control humidity. By adjusting the ratio between return air and exhaust air, the temperature and humidity inside the drying drum can be precisely controlled.




Main Components  

1. Hot air furnace system: Optional biomass/gas/oil fuel, equipped with a heat exchanger, thermal efficiency ≥90%.

2. Main circulating fan: High-temperature centrifugal fan with VFD control, adjustable air volume.

3. Drying drum: With wear-resistant lifting plates, inner cylinder made of heat-resistant steel plate.

4. Cyclone dust collector: Primary dust removal for large particles, protecting the fan and return air duct.

5. Bag filter: Secondary deep dust removal, emission concentration ≤20mg/Nm³.

6. Return air duct system: Insulated design to minimize heat loss, equipped with air volume control dampers.

7. Fresh air and exhaust system: Automatically controlled fresh air supplementation and exhaust of moist waste gas.

8. Temperature and humidity control system: PLC + sensors, automatically adjusts return air ratio and furnace temperature.

9. Inlet and outlet sealing devices: Rotary airlock or double flap design to prevent cold air entry and hot air leakage.
