Fully Automatic Mechanical Particle Board Paving Production Line

This production line is an automatic mechanical spreading system for industrial production of standard particleboard (non-oriented). The equipment uses mechanical scattering and roller leveling technology to evenly spread different particle sizes (fine surface particles, coarse core particles) onto a continuously moving forming belt, creating a uniform mat with consistent thickness. The line features high automation, good spreading accuracy, and low maintenance costs, and is widely used for high-volume continuous production of furniture board, concrete formwork board, packaging board, and other standard particleboard applications.

I. Working Principle


The automatic mechanical particleboard spreading line operates on the principle of graded spreading + mechanical scattering + roller leveling. The core process is as follows:

1. Layered Feeding  

  Fine surface particles and coarse core particles are stored in separate bins and metered to their respective spreading heads according to set ratios.

2. Mechanical Scattering & Spreading  

  Particles enter the spreading head and are evenly scattered onto the forming belt below by high-speed rotating scattering rollers (or toothed rollers). Scattering intensity and speed are adjustable to suit different particle sizes.

3. Roller Leveling & Thickness Setting  

  The loose mat passes through multiple leveling rollers (or scraping rollers) for surface smoothing and thickness pre-compression, keeping cross-web thickness variation very low.

4. Continuous Mat Forming  

  The forming belt continuously delivers the mat to a pre-press or directly to the hot press for subsequent pressing.

The line typically adopts a surface/core layered spreading configuration: bottom surface layer → core layer → top surface layer, forming a three-layer standard particleboard.

Spreads fine particles to form dense, smooth top and bottom surfaces.

3. Core Spreading Head

Spreads coarse particles to form the internal structural skeleton.

4. Scattering Roller Sets

Core component of the spreading head; rotates at high speed to evenly scatter particles.

5. Forming Conveyor Belt

Carries the mat continuously; speed is VFD adjustable.

6. Leveling / Scraper Rollers

Smooth mat thickness, compact surface layers, and remove excess material.

7. Mat Weighing System

Monitors spreading amount in real time, with closed-loop control of feeding speed.

8. Thickness Control System

Scans mat cross-section thickness, automatically adjusts leveling roller gap.

9. Electrical Control System

PLC + touchscreen for full-line automation and data monitoring.

10. Frame & Safety Guards

Integrated frame with maintenance platforms and safety doors.

Mat Pre-press

Continuously pre-compresses the loose mat, removes air, increases mat strength for entry into the hot press.

Mat Cross/Trimming Cut-off

Cuts the continuous mat to hot press尺寸 width and length.

Acceleration Conveyor

Matches mat speed to hot press infeed, preventing bunching or tearing.

Multi-opening or Continuous Hot Press

Cures the mat under high temperature and pressure to produce finished particleboard.

Cooling Turner

Cools the board after hot pressing, releases internal stress, prevents warping.

Edge Trimmer

Trims rough edges after cooling to obtain standard-sized panels.

Stacking System

Automatically stacks finished boards for warehousing and transport.
