I. Working Principle
The automatic mechanical particleboard spreading line operates on the principle of graded spreading + mechanical scattering + roller leveling. The core process is as follows:
1. Layered Feeding
Fine surface particles and coarse core particles are stored in separate bins and metered to their respective spreading heads according to set ratios.
2. Mechanical Scattering & Spreading
Particles enter the spreading head and are evenly scattered onto the forming belt below by high-speed rotating scattering rollers (or toothed rollers). Scattering intensity and speed are adjustable to suit different particle sizes.
3. Roller Leveling & Thickness Setting
The loose mat passes through multiple leveling rollers (or scraping rollers) for surface smoothing and thickness pre-compression, keeping cross-web thickness variation very low.
4. Continuous Mat Forming
The forming belt continuously delivers the mat to a pre-press or directly to the hot press for subsequent pressing.
The line typically adopts a surface/core layered spreading configuration: bottom surface layer → core layer → top surface layer, forming a three-layer standard particleboard.
