MH-MDF
MINGHUNG

Step 1: Chipping & Preparation
Raw material is chipped into chips; screening and magnetic separation remove impurities.
Step 2: Fiber Preparation
Chips are steamed and softened, then separated into wood fibers by a refiner.
Step 3: Flame Retardant Application
Flame retardant is prepared and uniformly mixed with fibers via a high-pressure spray system, penetrating into the fibers.
Step 4: Gluing & Drying
Adhesive is added to the FR-treated fibers, then dried at a lower temperature in a flash tube dryer to target moisture content.
Step 5: Mat Forming
Dried fibers are formed into a continuous mat with uniform density by a former.
Step 6: Hot Pressing
The mat is pre-pressed and then fed into a hot press, where it cures into a board under optimized temperature and pressure.
Step 7: Cooling & Conditioning
Raw boards are cooled and then conditioned for 48-72 hours to stabilize properties.
Step 8: Sanding & Cutting
Boards are thickness-sanded, cut to standard sizes, inspected, and packaged.
Main Equipment Overview
Chipper
Cuts logs or waste wood into uniform chips. Drum or disc type with a large feed opening suits various raw materials. Replaceable knives ensure consistent chip size.
Refiner
Separates steamed and softened chips into wood fibers. High-power motor with adjustable grinding plate clearance ensures proper fiber length and fineness for flame retardant adhesion.
Flame Retardant Application System
Consists of a dissolving tank, high-pressure metering pump, and spray unit. Precisely mixes and atomizes flame retardant into fibers for uniform penetration with closed-loop automatic control.
Gluing System
Applies adhesive uniformly to FR-treated fibers. High-precision flow meters and atomizing nozzles achieve ±0.5% gluing accuracy, saving adhesive consumption.
Flash Tube Dryer
Instantly dries glued fibers with hot air. Uses lower temperature (5-10°C below standard MDF) to prevent FR decomposition. Equipped with exhaust gas treatment.
Mat Former
Forms dried fibers into a uniform continuous mat. Mechanical + air-flow design with online density feedback automatically adjusts discharge, ensuring mat density deviation ≤±3%.
Continuous Press or Multi-Opening Press
Cures the mat into MDF board under high temperature and pressure. Optimized temperature curve (5-10°C lower) and extended pressing time (+10-15%) ensure full core curing for FR boards.
Cooling Star Turner
Forces cooling of hot pressed raw boards to room temperature. Chain-plate flipping design with air or water assist ensures even cooling and prevents warping.
Wide Belt Sander
Double-side thickness sanding of conditioned boards. Coarse belt removes loose surface layer; fine belt performs precision calibration. Online thickness gauge provides automatic compensation with ±0.3mm tolerance.
Advantages of This Production Line
1. Uniform and Stable Flame Retardancy
2. Compliance with International Fire Standards
3. Minimal Loss of Mechanical Properties
4. Low Smoke, Low Toxicity, Eco-Friendly Design
5. Specialized Dust & Exhaust Treatment
6. Dual Function: Fast Switching Between FR and Standard MDF Modes
